When large numbers of people gather in one place, we often have a few rules that will help make the time spent together enjoyable for all. This weekend is one of those occasions where we need to observe a few extra requests to help provide an environment respectful of the spiritual nature of our gathering.

Please feel free to print this page and review it with your family, so that everyone will be aware of all the rules before leaving home.

  • Alcohol is not permitted within the boundaries of the Makah Nation.
  • Please do not bring your pets.
  • The campsite does not allow vendors to sell their products.
  • Distribution of photos, videos, or sound recordings of the gathering must have the written consent of the Baha'is of Makah Reservation. (Performers will be asked if they wish to be photographed or taped beforehand.)
  • Youth are required to camp with an adult (age 25 or older).
  • Male and female youth are not allowed to sleep in the same tent.
  • Please do not bring electronics such as "boom boxes", radios, or loud video games.
  • Please do not play car stereos in the campground area.
  • When participating in activities around the main campfire, please be considerate of others, particularly during quiet hours.
  • Unattended youth are requested not to be on the beach or roaming the campground between midnight and sunrise.
  • If you need quiet at night, please choose a campsite some distance away from the main campfire area.
  • Please be respectful of the needs of others at all times.
  • Parents are asked to be aware of where their children and youth are and what they are doing at all times.
We heartily thank you in advance for following these rules and applying common sense to all situations not specifically mentioned. Your help will make everything go more smoothly for everyone.
