About Our Community

We are the Baha'is of Makah Reservation. Since the mid 1950s we've had an active Local Spiritual Assembly, and some of those original LSA members are still active in the Community.

Our annual United Spiritual Gathering Council Fires began in the late 1960's as a friendly way to introduce the Baha'i Faith to others and to provide an opportunity for Baha'is from to have fellowship and and meet new friends from other communities.

We hold Baha'i Feasts every nineteen days throughout the year, as well as several other Baha'i gatherings for Holy Days and other activities. Leading up to the Council Fire, we do a lot of additional planning and preparation as a community.

We invite you to learn more about the Baha'i Faith and would like to invite you to contact us with any comments or questions you may have.

If you are not located in our area, and would like to meet Baha'is and learn more about our Faith, you can call 1-800-22-UNITE for more information and to request that your local Baha'i community contact you.

If you are in our area and would like more information, or would like to meet us, please feel free to call 360-645-2153.
